Every Friday Night through the summer - usually 17 weeks late May through Late September - begining at 7pm with a local group and a headliner performance from around 8-10pm.  Chattanooga has a block party.  Bring a chair or sit around the fountains (or dance and swing your kids in the air).  Everybody is out there.  Young, old, rich or poor.  The music is free and the people are friendly.  And there are some great headliners - the locals are pretty darned good too.  I mean, Chattanooga has all the flavor of Memphis and Nashville combined with some of our own hometown style too.  Usher was from somewhere before he claimed Atlanta. . . and guess where?  Ummhmm. . same place Bessie Smith is from.   Ready to relax, have a beer and see the city at it's level best?
